QuickPads in the Woods

It’s another day and Mrs Parker readies her class of excited ten year olds for a field trip. They are going to the woods to study nature. They arrive at Badger wood, where they burst out into the sunshine and eagerly look around for nature’s little treasures. An hour later they come up with their various finds, a glittering spider’s web, an earthworm’s house, bugs under a stone, a knobbly bark, wet mud and other little things only children can find. On the way back to school, Mrs Parker’s class records their experiences into their QuickPads. Mrs Parker is glad her school invested in Quick Pads from Keytools. “It’s so much easier now to take the class out”, she thinks to herself, “as I don’t need to worry about them losing their notebooks and pencils or not having enough paper to write on” As the little bus journeys on, Mrs Parker happily chats away to her students, discussing their day. “Mrs Parker, Mrs Parker,” calls Billy, “Jill wants to share my QuickPad, but I can’t let her, she will be able to read my work.” “Well Billy”, said Mrs Parker, “let me show you how to password protect your writing folder.” “Oh Mrs Parker”, cried Sally excitedly, “I typed knobbly wrong and it corrected itself, isn’t that amazing?” “Yes it is, dear”, said Mrs Parker, amused at Sally’s excitement. Back at school Mrs Parker asks her students to upload their work to the computer; she also reminds them to print out previous assignments. And while they are busy with that, let’s wander away and take a quick look at the QuickPad. The QuickPad is a simple and uncomplicated word processor that doubles up as a regular keyboard, when hooked to a computer through the included infrared wireless connection. Once connected, text can be uploaded to any word document in a simple and easy manner. With its ten writing folders with upto 70 pages of text, the QuickPad enables students to work on a number of assignments at once. The QuickPad also has a 70,000 word spell checker that helps students improve their spelling. Available in a nice bright blue, the QuickPad is a time cutting and efficient way for students to take down notes and type up reports thus reducing the hassle of overcrowded computer labs.
