EU-OSHA

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has been set up by the European Union in order to serve the information needs of people with an interest in occupational safety and health.
 
The Agency is located in Bilbao, Spain and is managed by a Board with Government, employer and worker representatives from all EU Member States, as well as representatives from the European Commission.
 
The Agency has co-ordinated a network since 1997 with focal points in each Member State of the Union. The Agency also co-operates with various International Organisations, safety and health administrations and interested parties world-wide. The Agency carries out research on various aspects of occupational health and safety, including Musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics and risk assessment.
