A5 Subcutaneous cellulitis of the hand (beat hand) Manual labouring causing severe or prolonged friction or pressure on the hand e.g. miners, road workers using picks and shovels
A6 Bursitis or subcutaneous cellulitis at or about the knee (beat knee) e.g. housemaid's knee Manual labouring causing severe or prolonged external friction or pressure at or about the knee e.g. workers who kneel a lot
A7 Bursitis or subcutaneous cellulitis at or about the elbow (beat elbow) Manual labouring causing severe or prolonged external friction or pressure at or about the elbow
A8 Traumatic inflammation of the tendons of the hand or forearm, or of the associated tendon sheaths (tenosynovitis) Manual labouring or frequent or repeated movements of the hand or wrist e.g. routine assembly workers
A9 Carpal tunnel syndrome The use of hand-held power tools whose internal parts vibrate so as to transmit that vibration to the hand, but excluding those which are solely powered by hand
