An important element of any policy to prevent RSI in the workplace is the development of a notification system. The TUC model includes the following:

If an fellow employee reports symptoms of RSI it is important that they are taken seriously and given a sympathetic hearing. They should also be encouraged to visit their family doctor and explain what work they do. Please refer to the section on treatment.
